The SPT-3000, built around the new Atom 1.6 GHz N270 processor
and Intel 945 chipset, is compact, lightweight, fanless, energy
efficient and cool. The terminal features a 15" TFT LCD touch screen,
five-wire resistive touch technology, and an integrated card reader. It
can be easily wall-mounted using an inexpensive bracket and includes
10/100/1000 Ethernet connectivity, side and rear USB ports, four serial
ports, and supports 2.5" SATA hard disk drive and compact flash options.
The terminal is designed for serviceability and provides tool-free
access the RAM, HDD, and CF – and tool-free installation of the optional
VFD customer display.
