"Fearless Women Day" in will be held on August 26, 2010, around the country in honor of the 90th Anniversary of Susan B. Anthony's
fight for the ratification of the right to allow women to vote.
Terri will have 75 books to sell with her picture on the cover and proceeds of $3.00 for each book sale going to
"Homes For Our Troops" . In honor of
"Fearless Women Day",
there will also be a Gala Event with Dinner, Dancing, Silent Auction and
50:50 raffle to raise additional funds, (date yet to be determined) at High Point Country Club. More information can be seen at
www.homesforourtroops.org/events. Sgt. Joseph Smith of High Point, NC who was injured in 2004 in Afghanistan. He will be the ultimate recipient of funds raised. His story can be seen at
www.homesforourtroops.org/smith. We will also be raising funds for United Way of High Point's "WHEW", Women Helping Empower Women. A Women's initiative that reaches out to to women who are looking for "a hand up and not a hand out".
